Plant-based system MELTEC® for sugar and syrup replacement

Winner of the CFIA Innovation Trophy 2019 at the Carrefour des Fournisseurs de l’Industrie Agroalimentaire in Rennes and Finalist at Food Ingredients Europe in Paris at the FI Innovation Awards 2019.

The Solution: Cleaner label, semi-solid vegetable fiber system for the replacement of sugars and syrups in foods. Obtained from natural origin raw materials, it is soluble in water, odorless and flavorless, and therefore very easy to include in recipes and production processes. Furthermore, Meltec® also allows to increase fiber content, improve textures, and give body to several food applications, as well as binding bars and snacks and enhancing creaminess and spoonability in ice creams and frozen desserts.

Two “Plant-based Excellence Awards” won in partnership with Crust & Crumb Bakery in November 2024 on the occasion of the Plant Based World Expo Europe in London (Gold and Silver Medals)

The Solution: co-developed, plant-based, wood-fired pizza concepts featuring slow fermented sourdough bases enriched with PROTEIOS, a Textured Vegetable Protein (TVP) that is all-natural, and GMO-free.

Plant-based micronized proteins MICRO PROTEIN

“Global Food Industry Award” for “Most Innovative Process” awarded in September 2024 by IUFoST (International Union of Food Science and Technology, a body bringing together the most prestigious universities worldwide and more than 150,000 food scientists and technologists).

The Solution: Clean-label range of vegetable proteins with a protein content of more than 70%. Thanks to its very fine texture and neutral taste, it has minimal impact on the structure and flavor of finished products while enhancing their nutritional profiles.

“Plant-based Innovation Award” won in partnership with Alianza Team Europe in November 2023 at Food Ingredients Europe in Frankfurt.

The Solution: Clean-label, allergen-free vegetable fat that does not use tropical oils and provides key sensory attributes to plant-based applications including pleasant appearance, juiciness, and texture.
